Hollywood Park Kitchen Remodel

Sometimes you find a great home in a great neighborhood but it comes with a less than perfect kitchen.  In this case it was worth embarking on a remodel for our clients to achieve the kitchen of their dreams.

These before photos show how small and closed off this
kitchen was with a large wall between the kitchen and living room and a small eat in breakfast area.

In redesigning this kitchen, we doubled the size of the kitchen by removing the wall between the kitchen and living room and incorporating the breakfast room into part of the new kitchen design.  The new layout creates a much more open floor plan, and a spacious kitchen with triple the counter space and more than double the storage.  Having a new large island creates ample prep space for daily cooking and eating breakfast while also serving as a gathering place while entertaining guests.

These after photos showcase beautiful new full height cabinetry, a large island with contrasting paint color and the extra long 4" x 16" subway tiles that reach all the way to the ceilings on the two main walls.

The island countertop is stainless steel, a durable and easy to care for surface that adds character to the farmhouse industrial styling of this kitchen.

The perimeter countertop is leathered granite for a practical surface with a unique texture.

The homeowners are avid cooks and often entertain.  They are now planning on teaching cooking classes from their new custom Kitchen.
